Market Street Park is a one acre park that links Market Street to the neighborhoods. The playground area is covered by a tensile shade structure to shield children from the desert sun. Desert Camp Community Recreation Complex, a nine acre indoor/outdoor community recreation facility, offers on-site computers, workout facilities, swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, children’s play areas and many other amenities geared toward family recreation.
DC Ranch Crossing, a 27-acre mixed-use neighborhood center on prime Scottsdale Real Estate, and is being planned for development at the southeast corner of Pima Road & Union Hills Drive in north Scottsdale, at the gateway to the DC Ranch community. DC Ranch Crossing which will include residential, retail and hospitality uses. AJ’s Fine Foods will anchor this casual neighborhood center with restaurants and convenience retail providing a family oriented locale. This shopping center will be in short walking distance from the Desert Parks Village part of DC Ranch. This includes the Manor Homes by Ashton Woods homes, the Park Homes by Ashton Woods, the Terraces at DC Ranch by Monterey, The Villas at DC Ranch by Engle. The Estates at DC Ranch by Engle, and Desert Parks Vista apartments.
Copper Ridge School (K-8) on site is part of Scottsdale Unified School District and encompasses elementary and middle school, with shared use facilities on the single campus. Silverleaf of North Scottsdale is a new private neighborhood within DC Ranch, encompassing 8,300 acres, with more than 4,600 dedicated to open space.
